WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!? I've been on Polar Peak a few times, I've been boarding for 20+ years. I still get a little butterfly when I head up there.
This is the view from the lift heading up there: This is after all the signs saying "EXTREME CAUTION, EXPERTS ONLY, NO EASY WAY DOWN"
Here's the hut at the top: You sort of feel like you're on the moon at this point.
The one entrance to the area he fell down: I saw people have to heelslide through this entrance and just shook my head.
The view about 1/3rd of the way down the easiest run off the peak. It's a good 40 degrees, everything centre and left in this pic is a cliff band (with a couple "cliff" signs advising you of impending death")
You should NOT be riding polar peak unless you're SURE you can handle it, and even then it can be very tough unless conditions are perfect.
Don't people learn to board with people that have some experience?!? What were they thinking???
