after weeks of researching and lurkin around the forums, I've decided to just come out and ask for help. I currently own a Rossi Angus 158MW with about 8 days of use, but it turns out the mid wide was a mistake. Oh well. Anyway, I'm lookin to re-up for the next season since I'm moving out to CO to work on a mountain.
I've narrowed it down to either never summer's SL or Arbor's Coda. I was recently put on to Smokin Snowboards, but there's so many camber options and I'm not really sure which compare to the SL/Coda. I'm open to suggestions.
I'm at 5'7" and 170 lbs and size 10 boot. I'm more of an all mountain guy who likes to cruise groomers at high speeds, but I also want to get into the backcountry/trees and hit natural features. Maybe some kickers in the park, no real interest in rails/jibs. Things most important to me are edge hold, pow float, durability, and maneuverability.
So, what are the pros/cons of the SL vs the Coda? Which Smokin board would compete with these? Sizing advice would be appreciated as well. Would 155 be too short?
so many options!
Thanks for the help!
