Default Packing out DC boots?

I tried on a pair of DC Balance boots the other day and found that they were only a tiny bit tight. When in my stance the toes didn't pull off the front of the boot, but they weren't crushed either. I am going to add some green Superfeet to them, which should pull the toes back a bit. They were just a little tight across the top of my feet.

So does anyone know about how much the boot should pack out? I know some do a lot, some do a little and some don't at all. If this boot were to pack out just a quarter to a half size, specifically right above the foot, they'd fit perfectly I think.

Thanks!
