First board, like many others, need help!

First off, I'm glad I ran across this forum, lot of good info. I have been snowboarding 4 times in my life, 2 this winter and about to be 3. I absolutely fell in love with it after the first time. I am a senior at the University of Alabama and yes, there is surprisingly a slope about 2 hours NE of me. But, we usually ride around Gatlinburg or Sugar Mountain, NC. So the snow is usually of the man made variety. I will mostly be just riding. I do like the occasional jumps and rails although they are kinda few and far between in this neck of the woods, so I will be in the park every once in a while. Im 6 ft 180 and wear a 13 shoe but usually opt for the 12 so it will be really snug. Not sure if I would need a wide board or not? But yeah, there are no shops or anything in this area and I really dont know where to begin. I have searched alot of here and have found the type of board, size, etc but dont know anything about brands or anything like that. So, suggestions would be great! thanks alot!
