Yet another Help Me Choose a board thread
Hey guys, I know there's a zillion threads out there on boards comparisons, but finding a setup that matches me has been near impossible, so I had to make this new thread.
I only started boarding last season, but picked it up pretty quick and am loving it! I probably only have 10-12 days on the mountain, but am looking forward to getting out more often this season. I'll mainly be heading to Cypress Mountain in BC. Last year I was riding a K2 Fuse 159W (which I'm certain was too wide for me) with Burton Mission bindings and 32 Lashed boots. I tried to make it as budget as possible. I'm hoping to use the same boots and bindings this year, but would look at suggestions as well.
I'm looking for a board that I can ride all mountain, a little bit of parks but nothing too technical, but mainly just goofy off on the sides of groomers and some little jumps. I've been very interested in the Never Summer Proto CT/HD, but know this might be a bit of overkill (price-wise especially, and not being able to test it first) for someone starting out. From what I've read it seems like it would fit my style perfectly though, so something similar to that. FUN is the main thing I want, I don't care about bombing down runs. You all know what I need better than I can figure out for myself, so that's why I've come to you.
I'm 5'11", 190lbs, size 10.5 foot. Fire your best advise, suggestions, and hate at me for making another thread!
