Need some advice, thanks
I've snowboarded for a long time, but I haven't been able to go a lot every winter. Now that I have my license and that my growth has slowed down, getting a board wouldn't be impractical. I'd be able to use it more than I would've before, especially since my two friends that are step brothers have some really cool features in their backyard, including some 40 ft. thing that they just finished building.
Anyways, I need some help though. I'm torn between three boards.
I'm mainly a park guy. I'm learning on the jibs and rails, as well as jumps. I've been looking for a super fun board that is confidence inspiring and fun enough to enjoy even outside of the park.
So my local boardshop had a tent sale this past weekend, and one of their boards on sale was a 2012 (2 years ago) Rome Reverb Rocker, a 151. Now, I'm about 5' 10", 165 ish so is 151 too small for me for my intended purposes?
I also found at the shop a 2013 (Last year's) Forum Youngblood Doubledog for $240. I'm not sure what the size is but I think it it's in the 153-156 range.
Finally, there are 2 2013 (last year's) Signal Park Flats that are 152 and 156. They are both $240. I'm not sure which size is good for me. I feel like 156 would be too big for what I want to do...am I wrong?
So ya, there's my little predicament. I'm gonna go to the shop tomorrow, and depending on what my responses are, I'll be coming home with one of these boards.
Thanks so much.
(I already PM'd somebody about this, but seeing that I don't have a lot of time, I decided to make it public.)
