I just got Union Force in the mail in a L/XL and they look huge. I wear a size 10 and now regretting not getting med/large. You think it would be worth it to return them and get the med/lrg or size down the ones I got to fit my boot?

I just bought the forces last night. I got the M/L cause thats the only size the had, I also wear siaze 10 boots I was a little sketchy at first cause I thought they might be to small but they worked well with the boot fitting. The question I have is about the toe-strap.Will it shape to the boot as time goes by?

Thanks for the response guys, I have them sized all the way down and plate pushed back. They fit pretty good, I would have liked the med/lrg because of the size/weight difference and they probably would have been more snug on the sides. But, not worth returning them. I'm hitting the mountains this weekend so well see how they do. Running them with 32 Lashed, my Burton freestyles fit better in them though.

browndja, and everybody else who has size 10 boots and bought the Forces in L/XL,
How was your experience riding in them after adjusting the heel cup forward?
Are you happy with your choice on L/XL vs M/L?

I'd like to buy them online, since it's ~100% more expensive to buy them locally here in Australia. Hence I don't feel right rocking up to the local stores with my boots to try the Forces on, but not ending up buying them.

My boots are last season's Burton Hail, size 10. Will be purchasing Neversummer SL-R 158cm soon, which I believe has about 25.3cm waist, and I usually set my bindings at +15, -9. Weight 165lbs, Height 6'0".

I've got the L/XL Forces with my size 10 Ride boots and they are sweet. The Rides are actually a smaller than avg size 10 and still fit sweet. My board is about 25cm waist as well and with the bindings at about 23" wide stance at 15/-15 there is just the right amount of toe/heel overhang. The baseplate is exactly 25cm without the gas pedal. I have the gas pedal all the way in and because it's raised it's sweet. Where the bindings attach to the board is about 26.5cm wide so the bindings are a very tight fit. I did move the heelcups all the way in to the smallest fit, and because I didn't use any Loctite they did move the first time I rode them.

I'm going to put some blue medium Loctite on every screw on the bindings after I give the board a wax and put the bindings back on. Make sure you do use Loctite on your screws, even the ankle strap screw which is toolless needs some, it can very easily come out. On a poma I had my foot against the binding and the screw actually fell out. The guy behind noticed it and told me about it luckily, big ups to him. I dunno how he saw it since it's white with a little bit of thread on it but he saw it in the white snow.

Here are a few pics of the bindings on my board with boots:
