lots of topics on this all over this forum, for one, so a little searching will give you alot to read.

2nd: the general consensus is that if you want to ride more, the absolute way to do this is NOT by working at the resort.

3rd: nighttime bar manager dodges problem #2, but as a rule employees of hill get fucked and they will find something other than riding for you to do, so you'll wanna suss this out for sure if you are leaving your "career".

Sounds like your "career" can probably wait, plus it could line up long term in a resort town pretty easily.

If you go into bartending at night it would probably be worth it to work part time in a gym (shouldn't be hard to find near resort "x") to keep your hand in and network with the local talent.
