Default Knee support recommendations

Hi all I'm looking at getting some information on some basic knee support sleeves. Last year I used the cheapo tan slip on ones you can get from the drug store or walmart and they worked well as far as support and easing up my knee pain but the damn things always fell down and bunched up under my the back of knee. I was looking at the Shock Doctor 864, 865, and 867. The 864 and 865 are basically the same but the 865 has the patella hole and 864 doesn't, anyone know the advantage of the hole? My other alternative is the 867 which is more a universal sleeve that tightens with Velcro straps. Anyone have any experience with these or recommendations for something similar? I don't have enough knee pain to need the hinged type braces as I said the cheapo tan ones were enough and I would continue to use them if they didn't fall down constantly. Looking for something that will stay up really.
