I have finally narrowed my list of boards I want to buy down to 3(maybe 5) and I was hoping to get some feed back from the good people this little forum.
Here are my choices in no particular order.
Lib Tech 'La Nina'
GNU 'Impossible A.S.S. Pickle'
Never 'Summer Raptor'
and the outsiders are
Capita 'Black Snow Board Of Death'
Yes 'Pick Your Line'
To finish this off maybe a little info of what I will be riding.
I live in Northern BC where we get a shit ton of fresh so I want something that will basically be a powder board, but if there isn't fresh it is cold and wind swept so I need something that will handle that as well.
I really liked the La nina i demo'ed a few years ago, it was just too expensive at the time I bought my powder board. It was fun because it felt like driving from the back seat on groomers and floated pretty well in powder, but not as good as the capita charlie slasher i ended up with. Was just a really fun directional board.
the PYL is at the top of my pow list to try, along with the K2 ultradream. i really think the wide shovel nose shape is the way to go if you want the best float.
Usually I dont care about the looks as long as it gets the job done, but I hate that top graphic. Couldn't stomach the idea of looking at that for the next 5 years.
Stickers, paint, vinyl wrap, no reason to live with a graphic you don't like to get a kick ass board
