Loveland is literally 8 minutes from Abasin and they pretty much always share the exact same conditions. I wouldn't say Abasin is a LOT more challenging, Loveland has the Ridge, the steeps under lift 1, The east ropes, the west ropes, and all of lift 8, but Abasin does have a few more mogul monster skier runs. If you want the best bang for your buck choose loveland. Abasin is alright since they added the Montezuma bowl but loveland still just shits all over it as far as the whole mountain is concerned. Neither of them will be TOO challenging for a beginner, in fact loveland has an entire seperate mountain for beginners. Keystone, Breck, etc. are VERY expensive and busy as shit so I wouldn't reccomend them if you are going for a short trip.

When the fuck did we get ice cream?
