I'm 5'11" at 180 lbs. 32/33" waist. I own both azzpadz and skeletools.

I have a medium skeletools and they fit well. Kinda snug around the waist and legs, but I think that's how they're meant to be. If your waist is larger than 33" I'd recommend a large.

I also own a medium azzpadz.

Both work well. Here are the main differences:

1. Azzpadz cost $50.
Skeletools $76.

2. Azzpadz cushion is about 8" wide for both medium and large. 11" long for medium and 12.5" long for large.
Skeletools cushion is about 10" wide and 10" long.

3. Azzpadz protects your butt only.
Skeletools has removable cushions so you can protect your butt, hips, and the side of your thighs.
So if you just enjoy cruising, azzpadz. If you're learning to do tricks on ramps and rails, skeletools.

4. In terms of shock absorbtion, I think both are about the same.

5. Azzpadz can get lifted up when sitting on the lift, so I have to push them down to make sure it protects my tailbone.
Skeletoolz don't get lifted up since it's basically like another pair of shorts, but it can be more difficult going to the bathroom with them on.
