That's because all the old games had heart. Too many games today are all flash and no thunder.
I forgot to mention the Space Quest series. Those games probably had more influence on my weird sense of humor than anything else except Mystery Science Theater. Plus, those games helped me tone my perfect Gary Owens impersonation.
