Default Does the Burton Cruzer work as a learning park board?

So i want to get in the park, but I don't want to damage my new all-mountain board. I'm looking to get a cheap board to stomp on rails without guilt or fear, and hopefully i can use that board to practice over the summer as well (jumping on home made rails and all).

So far one of the cheaper options i've seen is to get a used Burton Cruzer for $57 shipped. It's supposed to be a soft, beginner's all-mountain board. I've seen reviews that say it's pretty heavy, but i figure if i get a smaller one for park it shouldn't be too bad to turn and catch air. And if it is heavier, i figure that would be good training until i can bear to bring my all-mountain into the park.

Do you guys think that works? Or is the Cruzer too soft/heavy/all-mountainey?

Thanks!
