In all honesty I'd say go and get a lesson with a good instructor and have him take a look at your overall technique to make sure you've got the basics spot on. There's no point trying to move forward if you don't have the basics perfect.
I did the same thing last season and it was really valuable, he identified a few bad habits I had and showed me how to correct them. Once I worked on them I found it much easier to progress quickly. Sometimes you need to take one step back to take two steps forward.
