My buddy just put up an ebay ad for his 2013 limited edition Cobra. I figured I'd help him out (and maybe one of you) by posting it on here. He's interested in trades too.
You think so? We saw these go for around $500 not long ago and I haven't seen any barely used cobra sell for under $400. You can always email him an offer if you're actually interested and not just some douchebag.

Guess it depends on what you think the douche move is.
The brothers in arms was sold by NS for $350 to active and former military as a thank you. So yeah I think trying to sell it used for more than he paid is fucked, given the promo NS was running.

I suppose its arguable and I take some of the credit for the price point, since he asked me for my opinion. As it stands now, he's selling it for slightly less than the break even point when factoring eBay fees. When watching these sell on ebay before this season began they sold for $450-500 new. The NS promo wasn't open to the public, so the selling price is null. For the price its at now, you're essentially getting a limited edition board that would sell for more had it been the standard edition at this price point. With all that considered, I don't think its whack at all.
Besides, if it doesn't sell he can always adjust it.
Fuck there are some whinging sooky cunts on this forum. Let the bloke sell the fucking thing for whatever he wants and be done with it. As if it makes a difference to you up there in your ivory fucking towers anyway. You should be concerned about soldiers getting a bullet to the head or the useless wars they're fighting in running your country into inconceivable debt, not their ability to get a cheap board.
If people are willing to pay more, as they have recently for this same board, you think sellers are should say no? That's ridiculous. Even more ridiculous if you don't think NS knows people could and will profit.
I would also like to mention again, the seller isn't profiting At the price on eBay, just breaking even, if it even sells. Regardless of some of you being up in arms, its a good deal at the current price.
Lastly, NS goal was to make money for donating. Regardless of what the buyer does with the product, NS still sold x amount. What anyone does after with the product makes no difference on the donations, why would NS stop?
Fitting show of classy chest thumping to cap off this thread.
