I don't think I am wrong here, light boards are not really designed to go fast. They'll chatter out when you really get up to speed. A more burly board is what you are going to want.

Most of the light boards seem to have the function of being a backcountry freeride board or park applications. At least that is how I have read into it. I just can't see one of the light boards being something I want to take down a steep groomer at speed. I am planning on going to the dealer demo days at Loveland this year, I'll make it a point to take a Vapor out if it's available.
