Boot dryer talk

So I spent the last hour reading about boot drying and dryers.

So basically I'm wondering if I should go ahead and buy boot dryers. I've always took my liners out and either put them over a vent, by a heater, near the fire place or just out in general.

So from reading and researching I've learned that heat is bad and you'd rather just use cool or cold air to dry them to kill bacteria. Also to avoid them from changing mold from being heated up.

These are my steps:
1. remove liner
2. remove insole
3. dry with cool air or naturally

I can't stand when its still damp the next morning.

I'd like hear what other people do and what you use. I'm going to Breckenridge in a week for 9 days and I ride all 8 hours except the first and last day (those are half days). I will buy a dryer this week if you guys think it would be a good investment. Dryer must fit in suitcase.

Thanks for all input. Even the sarcastic shit too.
