Default New Quiver - Suggestions

Hey knowledgeable folks of these forums, I trust you are all well and enjoying the new year.

I have a bit of a dilemma, but a good dilemma, I am spending 4 weeks hopping around BC in a camper from Mid Feb - Mid March, with most of the time spent in Revelstoke and I am after a couple of new decks.

I am 33, 6ft, just over 200lbs, Size 9.5 Burton ION Boot, and have 2014 Burton Cartel Bindings, riding for about 15 years here in NZ. I have 2 trips to Canada under my belt, riding at Kicking Horse and Revy. I pretty much don't ride park at all, or hit any jumps, I like to go fast, LOVE the pow, love getting into the trees and tight chutes etc. I like the occasional drop, or a pillow line but that's more when the occasion presents itself rather than a regular thing. I ride pretty aggressive, but not balls to the wall.

I have been riding the following boards over the past few years:

Neversummer T5 165 - nice and fast and stiff, I liked this board, was bombproof, but kinda seemed a bit clunky and heavy

Burton Fish 160 - old cambered one from early 2000's, I enjoyed riding this in the pow and found it not so bad on groomers, but did notice the little tail

Burton Barracuda 162(?) - this was the first year of the Barracuda, with the Channel and the big nose, with rocker between the feet and a kick out of the tail. I found this a nice board, lighter than the NS but found it was a real slug on any traversing and almost stopped when flat basing it (might be me being used to camber boards)

So to cut a long story short, I am after 2 new boards, I want something with a solid build that will suit how I ride, at this stage I am thinking a powder deck that can work on the groomers a little, and an all round deck, that will work well in the pow if needed (on those days after a dump)

I have narrowed down to the following:

All round board:

Lib La Nina MC 162
Burton Barracuda 161

Pow Board:

Lib Brando by Lando 162
Burton Fish 160
Jones Hovercraft 160
Lib Birdman 160

Although I have been riding a while, im not super down on the latest trends, who is making good boards and what is out there, there seems to be a huge selection and would be keen to hear any ideas.

Cheers

Kev
