Seeking New Board Help jones, yes others

Hi everyone,

First, I don't post often but visit all the time to read and learn.

By background I have been surfing and skiing including some competitive skiing back in my teens. I owned a snurfer, one of the first Burton's first production boards that I actually rode at Stratton in the 80sand then the first year burton canyon in a 168. Spent 10 plus years away from the mountain after a bad crash and went snowboarding for the first time in a long time last year.

Reality is 44 years old 6'2 190 with young twins who are 7 and now snowboarding. I bought a used burton antler last year and love it. Can play around with the kids, great in fresh snow etc. most importantly never catches. I live on the east coast so when it is real firm or icy, I miss being able to rail. Not looking to the park much, switch almost never but I would like to find something that can handle the firm stuff better and carve better but can still be easy to ride at slower speeds with the kids etc. looking to compliment the antler with a different profile board-camber or cam rock etc. that will carve better, handle the firm stuff better but not be catchy or mellow when with the kids. The Jones mountain twin seems like a great option and am also considering the Yes big city given I can get a great deal. Also considering a Rome mod rocker or just a burton custom. Any recommendations or thoughts would be appreciated. Btw, 10 or 10 1/2 boot.
