non-useless ideas:

try on as many boots as you can and then get the most comfy ones.

remember softer boots will feel a little more comfy at first but at your size you could use the support of something mid-stiffer.

boots are the most important piece of gear, they determine both comfort and control. shopping for discounts is cool with boards and bindings but be prepared to buy new and spend on boots.

some people like my buddy who I ride with and TT don't mind used boots. I got 2 problems with that:

1. fucking gross

2. body heat has already somewhat molded that boot to someone elses foot, yea they can be re-molded, fuck all that, get your own pair of boots, its why you decided to stop renting, right?

3. fucking gross, no thanks, not ever
