I think your experience is going to be much more impacted by the actual instructor you have vs the location. To increase your odds of having a great time I would go to Stowe or Killington. In my view, they seem to have greater consistency with their instructors. I would also recommend that you call so that you can get the kind of instructor you want. The more honest you are about your skills, concerns etc the better your instruction will be. Avoid holiday weekends if possible as when the mountains are quieter you are more likely to get the A instructors as well.
