You mention "learn to trust it" so I take it you're saying it is a solid platform it just moves around a bit and you don't actually need to correct it, just let it run?
I reckon you could probably demo the proto in CO when you arrive there. Or at least ask to try before you buy in some local shops as long you commit to buying "a board" from them etc. Email NS customer services and ask which local dealers have their boards for demo. I'm sure they'll help you and with 18 years under your belt, I bet you'll be crushing it after a couple of days to get used to it...
