Burton Swash Jacket Warmth

I am looking at the burton swash jacket

Burton AK 2L Swash Gore-Tex Jacket - Men's | Dogfunk.com

I usually have insulated jackets with polyfill in the body and arms of the jacket. Both jackets my old jackets were 15k/10k (special blend snow patrol and some ride insulated jacket) and they were the perfect warmth.

Now i am looking at the swash jacket with is 2L goretex with 40g pollyfill in just the body and not in the arms. I am not sure how warm these 2L goretex jackets are.

I always ride in Vermont which does get pretty cold and dont like to wear many underlayers, just a ninja suit.

How do these 2L goretex jackets compare to a insulated 15k/10k jacket? do you think this jacket will be warm enouph? Is there any benefit to a goretex jacket on the ice coast?
