I'm 29, live in Toronto, Canada and finally decided to take up snowboarding.

So I tried snowboarding a few times years ago, you know the whole renting a place for a weekend, snowboard during the day using rental and what not, wanted to pursue it but friends didn't care for it. Not wanting to do it alone I forgot about it. Now years later that I have my skydiving needs sorted out and no more real expenses for it to be done, I decided to start snowboarding as well even if I have to start without them.

Now I'm starting to read about different boards, sizes, and their purpose, and how to start and it's getting very excited. The goal is to start next season, unless I find a great deal on equipment this season still and get a few sessions going.
