Beginner questions/sizing

Let me know if there's a thread for this somewhere..
I'm a male 16 140-150 lbs 5'7" and I wear 10.5-11.5 Nikes. Can someone help me with board sizing and boot sizing. I found this caluculator Snowboard Size Calculator, Sizing Guide but the numbers I got from it don't seem to go together when I'm looking at boards. I think I'm looking at all mountain. I'm not looking to buy right now, but by next winter I hope to be boarding. My budget is low so I'm limited to probably clearance/beginner stuff. Right now I longboard if that matters. As a beginner I don't have much brand preference. I've heard of Burton, K2, and Never Summer(I like their longboards). What's the cheapest I can go without buying total crap(board, bindings, boots)? Do I need a "snowboarding" jacket or will any warm winter coat do? I know a lot is personal preference, but with zero experience I need some opinions. Thanks
