First of all, I think that your board that is a mountain is too big for you. Try something smaller and more manueverable.
(Couldn't resist...)

On a serious note, the bigger concern I think would be stripping the heads of the screws. Of course, the screws can be easily replaced.
While I don't think that the holes in the board should wear down readily, I would still get a second pair of bindings and leave each board with its own pair.
I also loosen the screws if my board is going to sit for awhile btw.
