Type of Board Repair Required

Hi guys I just joined this forum and I need your advice. I have a 3-5 year old Salomon Snow Board. The board has damage to the nose section. Multiple layers are missing, the metal edge is not damaged, but it looks as if all the other layers are. Here is a picture of the damage and another one of the board that may help to determine what the layers are made out of.

My question is what type of repair does this warrant? Is it a simple epoxy fix or do I need to bring it to a professional shop?

EDIT: I realize the second picture is blurry, the important information on it is "ptex 1900, Salomon ACE 160" I don't know if ACE 160 is a model series that this board belongs to or the actual model. If you need more information please let me know, thanks again.
