Default Low light lens?

I recently purchased a new goggle, an Ashbury Bullet. Its standard lens is a gray lens with a VLT of 25%. It also has a low light lens, a very bright yellow lens with 75% VLT. I'm going to Austria tomorrow but the weather forecast is very vague, it could be anywhere between partly cloudy with some sun or overcast with heavy snowfall. I tried changing the lens but it takes about 20 minutes, it's not really something I can do on the chairlift. Could it be dangerous if I use the low light lens and accidentually get caught in very sunny conditions? What would you recommend, risk using the dark lens in low light conditions or the low light lens in very bright conditions?
