Default Jacket/pants advice

Hi, I've been getting more into snowboarding lately and I don't have any good jackets. (outgrew them all) and decided that to buy one a little big, so it'll last a few years.
I really like the look of the burton swash jacket, and it is supposed to be waterproof, but its $400.

I've searched for jackets that have the same look, but haven't found any and the looks are honestly what I care about most. It must be a bit waterproof, nothing crazy, but at least a little. Breathability is probably more important because in Indy, it varies in the winter from -15 to 50F pretty quick, so I don't want a heavy jacket.
As for pants, I haven't found any that I really like. I can go for these, but I'm not sure what the average price is. I have seen them range from $50-$200+.
Ive been looking at these, though.
