I was thinking of getting the GNU Danny Kass, but I keep seeing stores list it as "mid-wide". I was also looking at the TRS and it is not labeled as "mid-wide", but the width looks similar to me (looking at 155 or 157).
How is the width of that board for size 10 boots (Ride Lasso)? I'm guessing it's fine, but I'm just wondering if this is actually a wider board or not.
Thanks, I think Evo also says it's a 0.5" setback, so I wasn't really trusting them.
By the way, would you recommend 158 over 155 if I'm about 150lbs (and 5'11")? I'm moving from a 154 and was kind of targeting the 156-ish length. All mountain riding with maybe 40% park (mostly decent size jumps, so not looking at all for a park/jib board). 158 seemed to be a little longer than I might want.
You're in the weight range for any of those boards. I feel like a 55 may be a little on the short side, but that all depends on where you ride, and how you ride. If you like to haul ass, and have a pretty decent sized local hill the 58 may be better for you. If you're taking laps on a 230' hill in the midwest the 54/55 would probably be more fun for you. Also, they are both true twin shapes. The stance is centered.
