Some questions about first lesson?

So I'll be taking my first lesson tomorrow at Camelback in TVille, Pa.

Basically, what I want to know is, generally, what can one expect from a first lesson?

Has anyone here ever ridden the bunny slope at CB? Are all bunny slopes generally the same, or are some harder than others?

I'm imagining my butt and the snow will be good friends by the end. I don't really plan on leaving the bunny.

I have skateboarding experience, will this help me?

Is it a mistake to be starting now? Should I have just waited until next season, seeing as how the mountain will be closing in a month?

Should I try and make it back as much as I can before they close, or just do my lesson and then wait and start lessons again next season?

I got one of the Learn 2 Ride/Rental packages, so I plan on staying on the mountain as long as possible.(I believe it comes with an all day lift ticket)

I plan on saving up over the summer, and getting some equipment at the beginning of next season. I want to get into park/freestyle riding eventually, should I buy higher end freestyle/park equipment now(since it'll last me longer and I can progress without worrying about having to replace equipment for a few years)? Or just get the cheapest stuff I can get?
