Default CO post season uphill travel?

So going to be in Crested Butte and Telluride sometime between the 19-21st of April for our annual trek home to Minnesota from Utah.

While the girlfriend is doing the tourist thing I'd love to make a couple easy\chill solo corn laps at each of these resorts....wouldn't mind getting deeper into the BC but will be skinning solo so would prefer to stay in safeish post season in bounds terrain if conditions are moderate or below.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

We have our camping gear with us but if anyone knows how to get a killer post season discount deal on a room in Telu or CB with a view and a hot tub that wouldn't hurt either
