Default Anyone use hockey/roller hockey padded shirt as upper body armor?

Something like this:

I have the older Demon Flex Force Pro jacket and it has saved me few times from getting seriously hurt but it lacks frontal/rib protection.

I plan to push myself more in the park and glades next season and I want something that cover more frontal area but I also don't want to feel like I'm wrapped in pillows while riding. The above shirt looks to provide good coverage yet doesn't look too bulky. Any opinions?

Here is the description:

Material:
16-Way stretch mesh and Lycra provides great mobility and ventilation
Wicks moisture away keeping you dry

Protection:
7mm laminated PE HD foam plated sternum guard
7mm laminated PE HD foam shoulder protection with a soft comfort base
7mm laminated PE HD foam bicep protection
Floating 7mm laminated PE HD foam bars to protect your ribs
7mm laminated PE HD foam back protection

Fit:
Compression fit to help keep your muscles warm and tight
