Yeah, that's why your douchebag Obama is in office, cause the EVIL JEWS put him there
Ummmm...you kind of took this a bit out of context here. Nowhere did I make reference to the idea that Jews are evil. What I said is that in this country there is a VERY POWERFUL Jewish lobby who puts enormous pressure on our congress when it comes to America`s policy toward Israel. This special interest pressure has skewed America`s foreign policy in the Middle East to create a huge imbalance in our relations in the region and is a major contributor to anti western terrorism.

My "douche bag Obama" is in office because the American people woke up to the fact that Republican policies since Reagan have all but destroyed this country. Since you obviously have`nt noticed, President Obama is just as pro Israel as every President in modern time has been.....your hatred of him blinds you to the truth of what is real and what is fantasy...I suppose you probably drink the FOX Koolaid and STILL believe he is Muslim....

Way to go there, just assume that because I voice an opinion that differs from yours, I am some blind moron who gets their information from FOX or MSNBC. Way to have a conversation there buddy....

Hmmmm....you speak for ALL Jews do you??? Wow, that is interesting considering that millions of Jews both in and out of Israel are just as critical of the actions of the IDF and their government....I guess the Israelis who live there but don`t agree with you are stupid too....

For your information, one does not have to go to Israel to understand the politics of the region. Just because you were a grunt on the ground there gives you no better perspective of the intricacies of the geo politics of the region than anyone else. The ground pounding combat troop actually has far less of a global perspective of things than the civilian. I for one, don`t watch network television news and get my information through research online and through reading books on the subject. In addition, I have Jewish friends who frequently travel back to Israel to visit family and we spend hours talking about these things. I would surmise that I have a far better grasp of the situation than you do.

The fact of the matter is that the government of Israel continues to often be its own worst enemy. The actions they take often exacerbates situations. I fully understand their situation and fully agree they have a right to exist and defend themselves. I also see the truth of the matter that in many cases they go beyond this and act like a bully. They do this knowing that the United States has their back. My point is that in many cases, they make their situation far worse as a result of their belligerence. They also make it more difficult for America as a result.

Your xenophobic, anti Muslim hatred has blinded you to reality. It is not anti Semitic to criticize Israel when it is out of line. In fact, not doing so fuels anti western and anti Israel hatred in the region. Only by dealing fairly with everyone in the region will any progress be made. You rant and spew your hatred for anything Muslim and that blinds you to the realities of history. In 1947-48 when Israel became a state, it displaced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who had lived on the land for generations. How would YOU feel if some foreign government came in and kicked you off the land your family had owned for generations, bulldozed the home you and your grandparents were born in and left you homeless and jobless in an alien land? learn to put yourself in other`s shoes instead of just regurgitating the military induced chest pounding you got pounded in your head from basic training.

Israel`s actions in Gaza and the West Bank further fuel the deep seated hatred and mistrust and your attitude, like so many in the west, is blind to the concept that wrongs have been done and these wrongs need to be addressed. Everyone cries about Israel`s right to exist but only lip service is paid to the Palestinian people`s needs. Oh and by the way, just like in Israel, there are many religions represented by the Palestinian people; they are not all "evil Muslims" what of their rights? What of the Christian Palestinians who had their land stolen without compensation?

Bottom line is, a real two state solution must be realized and Israel needs to honor that and stop using the terrorist tactics they frequently use when it comes to the way they deal with Palestinians. Yes they have a right to self defense but they go way beyond that many times and this hurts the peace process just as much as when the Palestinians lob rockets into the West Bank. You cannot have lasting peace when you don`t deal equally with both sides.
