Not to get in an argument. Just stating how many use this key era to highlight a misconception that Israel took over "Palestinian" land. Again, there never was such a state or country. Palestine isn't even an entity but used for political purposes and was original initiated by the Romans in attempts to wipe Israel off the map of existence around the 100AD time; this is where the name derived from. They referred to that particular area of land as Palestine, more like a boundary of what the Roman's described it. Arabs have been using this strongly politically for the past 60-70 years now.
Before 700AD with the whole Islam movement, it was and always has been Israel's land from the time before hand. Christians do and did exist the so called "Palestine" area as well as Arabs. However to remain distinct from the Roman's attempt to classify what was their land of original Kingdom they won't refer to it as Palestine thus the creation of Israel.
The whole reason for co-existence within Iran is because it's not deemed the "holy" land and thus they don't have much bickering. It always has been and will be a battle over the land surrounding particularly those holy areas, especially Jerusalem that is within Israel's boundaries.
Carry on.
