Definitely a stiff carving board. I rode one for about 3 years thinking I wanted a stiff freeride board... which was not the case. It is a narrow board, with my 166 having a slimmer waist at 25.2 or so. Very quick edge to edge. It is perfectly suited for a slalom, but you have to have the skill and muscle to work that board around or it will ride you around the mountain instead of the other way around.
Got the muscle, skill??? A-Frame will be able to hit those gates in a slalom race.
