need help with sizing board for a 90kg newbie

hi guys.
I Need some advice for my girlfriends first non rental snowboard. She has been boarding maybe 8 times here in NZ. shes just used burton cruisers of lengths 145 and 147. She is 165 cm tall and just under 200lbs which is 90kg but doesnt like the idea of having to ride a board any bigger than 150cm...shes been advised to go for a flat board so they showed us the burton social and a k2 bright lite and a deja vu board...because of her weight if she wants to keep to a 146 or 149 will she have to get a stiffer flex less forgiving board ? she wont be doin jumps or tricks...she just wants to learn to carve and turn and ride proficiently and confidently and maybe some spins but no jumps....any advice please guys
