Default Nitro Ultimate ...HighTech or Gimmick

Hi Guys,

a few days ago i "stumbled" over a Board, the "Nitro Ultimate and its "new" tech , the Koroyd Core. 2015 will be the 3rd year of this tech and Board ?!.. i am not a Nitro guy, i own Lib Tech; GNU; Jones and Burton Boards so, i didn't knew that.

The core is made of vertically lined miniature tubes (co-polymer) welded together for better absorption of any kind of impact/vibration and is 70% lighter than a wood core..

Koroyd

to me, looks a little bit like the former times Burton AlumaFly Core which has been used in the Burton T6.. ??
my 2nd Board 2008 was a T6 with a C60 on it
nice for carving and straightlining everything but hard to flex and susceptible...
and: the alumafly is aluminum, not plastic !

...Is this a great new tech, what if you have the bucks to get it, will make a perceptible difference ??
or is it just a nice gimmick and feels "dead" underfoot , breaks easy or is "worn out" after one season..??

so, its your turn !
What do you think about that !?
