Anyone have any experience with them? I just ordered a pair online for 50% off and got them today. They just feel cheap as shit. I only paid $30 for them, so if they fall apart after 10 days on the hill it's no huge loss, but just figured I'd ask and see if anyone has any personal experience with them. If y'all say they hold up, I'll keep 'em. If not, I'll just return them and no harm, no foul.
I've gotten plenty of great gear at 50% off. Snow sports in general have an over-production problem, hence why so much good gear gets blown out at steep discounts.
I've definitely gotten great gloves/mitts in the past for 40%+ off. I used to tend to stick to the mountaineering brands (TNF, Mountain Hardwear, Black Diamond, etc.) but was pretty stoked on my last pair of Candy Grinds. Gave Celtek a shot. Might go back to the mountaineering brands. They just seem to be higher quality. The Candy Grinds were super comfy but they didn't hold up like some of my past ones. I probably got about 40 days out of them.
Thanks man. Pretty much confirms what I suspected.
