The just said they might be able to open as early as Nov 28
This just in...
We've just received confirmation from our snowmakers that the earliest we could open for the 2014/15 Season is November 28 and you better believe that we're pushing hard to achieve this goal!
Ugh... with this mild weather over the next two days I feared what the hills would look like... don't look at the web cams! tomorrow is only going to look worse.
Looks like its going to stay below zero after monday though!
I'm glad I went opening day. Were really good conditions and the weather was perfect.. Hopefully things will get better quick! this warm weather blast the last two days were horrible.
I'm fairly sure you're talking about a different Blue Mountain from the one referred to in this thread.
Unless you drive up from Virginia to Collingwood, Ontario!
Come Sunday when its back to a daytime high of +9 Celsius...those webcams are gonna be back to looking down right depressing. They're gonna be hard pressed to get upon on Dec 5th which is their current target date at this rate.
I was at MSLM yesterday.
GREAT day!
Definitely recommend there over Blue right now.
Runs open on the Louis side, in good condition, plus the Junkyard is open with a lot of features in excellent condition.
I also hit MSLM this morning and it is in excellent early season condition. They still have a section of Moonstone to open, but all of St. Louis is open and there is nothing wrong with Machine Groomed Powder in early December. :jumping1:
Anyone been out there yet?
I'm going this 8th-10th, wondering how the hill is looking?
I haven't even picked up my 5x7 yet, hope they throw in some extra discounts or something because of the crappy weather for us pass holders.
