Well I'm not sure what you mean by AFI because in my mind, they have to time periods. One was a while ago when they played hard fast raw punk rock, and now they are more like a dark, gothicy, angry punk/something. If you like their old punk stuff check out bands like Guttermouth, older Anti-Flag, Subhumans etc. As far as their new stuff, some Tiger army songs remind me of them, but they pretty much have a style all of their own now.
