I think 2 degrees on your base edge is kind of extreme. 2 degress on you side wall is normal though. Did you search around on google for snowboard edge tuning? It's early monday morning, so I could be having a brain fart, but double check before you put 2 degree base bevel on your board. That can't be undone.
