Exclamation For all you Lower New England Boys...

Was checking my local weahter reports and this is what I found...

"A fast moving system is expected to bring
accumulating snow late Thursday afternoon and night...with the
higher amounts expected south of the Massachusetts Turnpike. A powerful noreaster
may affect the region Saturday night into Sunday with heavy
precipitation and strong winds along the coast...but confidence is
low since its 5 days into the future but it certainly will have to
be watched." -

Let's watch that nor' easter closely!

Later.... (the first system) "Even though the system looks to move fairly quickly...the shortwave
looks fairly potent"

this is the little system due thursday...

"We will indicate the potential for 3 to 7 inches
of snow south of the Massachusetts Pike...with the higher amounts more likely near
the South Coast."

Pray to the Snow gods for a good ealy season.

"Most of our long range models and
ensembles show a very deep surface low below 980 mb and in some
instances below 970 mb working up the southern New England coast!
However...this event is 5 days away and a lot can change between now
and then. All we can say is there is the potential for strong winds
along the coast and a heavy precipitation event. The 00z
GFS/Canadian/UKMET/ECMWF all show a slightly inland track. If this
were to verify heavy snow would develop" -Hamden Connecticut

just thought I'd share
