My buddy's board got stolen while locked. I don't know how but it's really made me think about how protected my board really is with a little bakoda lock.
If someone really
wants your board they'll get it. I figure the lock is just to deter a random walk-by snatching. The thief would either need to have some kind of cutter or spend time working at the lock, in other words they were determined rather than it being just a convenient theft.
I'm nervous about leaving my board locked to the roof rack of my car because someone with a phillips screwdriver could remove a binding then slide the rest of the board out from the rack jaws.
