same here.. I can't possibly focus on music and at the same time do something decent on a bike or board. But it also depends on the music: stuff that requires serious active listening to really enjoy it (think complicated metal/classical/...) takes all my attention so it is logical I can't do anything else (well except dance to it); 'easier' things like techno etc can fade away to the background and let me focus on something else (in fact at the same time yielding the entire point of listening to the music pointless as I hardly notice it's there anymore)

I know other people can actually get away with this much better, but then again I'm more of an all-or-nothing focus type of person, sort of at the edge of autism sometimes.
