hey there, ally here. originally from CT i'm relocating to the denver area for school. i've been a skiier for most of my life but have had to give it up due to shin and ankle injuries. i'd love to return to the snow and i've been told snowboarding boots might be the trick to a comfortable ride.

i want to learn the sport and i need to start with equipment. i want something that is performance quality, comfortable, and reasonably affordable for a novice setup. bindings, boards, and boot; what should i be looking for? what should i avoid? where should i go to get them? thanks.
