The board is a GNU park pickle. soft wood, and the nose and tail aren't wrapped in metal.
I have no idea how this happened, I just looked down and saw it during one run. I'm thinking its because some fool hit me from behind, but I didn't notice it then even though I checked. I stopped immediately after I noticed because I didn't want to damage it more or get water inside.
I'm going to Dick's to have them epoxy the part where the topsheet is scuffed. I don't know what to do about the dent on the bottom of the board though. There are a few open spots in the dent, if you understand what I mean. Is there a way to straighten this out or at least seal it up?
The lines you see going away from the damaged part aren't cracked, just scratches. I'm going to have them epoxy those if needed to make them waterproof. Would a nose-cap or whatever its called help for stuff like this? Does it impede riding?
