Anyone ride with a camera on a monopod or a ski pole? I am trying to look for a portable one because I don't want to mount it on a ski pole and carry it all over the place. I also want it to be able to extend very far out. Like this one, Quik Pod :: DSLR

It extend from 18" to 52" But I want one that is even smaller when retracted. Prehaps 12" retracted and 50+" extended? Have anyone use one or have suggestion to one?
