My vent, aside from this it was a great day..

Some sort of inner-city field trip day, whose great idea was this???

No it has nothing to do with color it has everything to do with attitudes and common sense. Got to the resort at 10am, as I was putting on my boots I noticed 3 buses pulling in. No biggie. Around noon we went to sit and eat lunch in the lodge...or should I say stand and eat lunch. According to an employee there, half of them came with board games/cards/etc. I kid you not, chutes and ladders, monopoly, the works. The girl I was riding with pointed out that they all had lift tickets on, at least what she could see, but none of them were even remotely dressed for skiing or snowboarding. Tennis shoes, SHORTS, no gloves to be found. So we seriously had to stand against a wall and eat lunch because all the tables were full of games, people yelling, tackling each other, and people just stretching out doing whatever the hell they were doing. This is the first time in 16 years of riding there that I haven't been able to find a seat, first time I've had to raise my voice for my friend to hear me. Even when the school ski clubs are there there's ample room. A lot of people were pissed including employees.

I doubt maybe 5 people were on the slopes from there...seriously. It's a small resort and it wasn't crowded on the snow at all even when they were there.

We all know the snowbunnies do this, but entire busloads? Later in the day a friend who works there told me that they have never seen the lodge in such a mess (after the busloads left). If you're coming to a ski or snowboard, and have just a little class for gods sake. Try to clean up after yourself, just try it would be a great attempt. If you want to play games and wrestle do it at home. You're not riding, you're just taking up space.
